One of the most successful Polish actors and theatre directors. He starred in over 80 films, mostly in Poland, France and Germany. He is also one of only three non-French actors to be hired by the Paris-based Comédie-Française. He is currently serving as director general of the Polski Theatre in Warsaw.

Jacek Gmoch (born 1939) is a former Polish footballer, who later became a trainer and selector of the Polish National Team. Following a major injury in a friendly match, Gmoch began a coaching career. He's been working with Kazimierz Górski (third place in 1974 World Cup in Germany). He returned as a head coach to qualify the National Team to 1978 Mundial in Argentina (fifth place). Gmoch later moved to Greece where he became one of the most successful and well recognized coaches.
