Our film is an observational documentary. The camera follows the protagonist, presenting and describing his life over the course of one year. During this time, our camera is almost omnipresent, it blends with reality, ceases to be noticed, and the protagonist eventually forgets about it – because even an actor of this class and format cannot control himself without end.

 
 

We do not give Andrzej Seweryn a chance to tell the viewer about himself in words. We don't seat him in a chair to let him reminisce about his rich career in front of the camera. We deliberately remove this possibility to prevent him from delivering a carefully thought-out presentation of his image. In this way, we give the viewer a chance to get to know Andrzej Seweryn beyond his acting. We see a great artist, but also a human.

 
 

In the documentary, we see Andrzej Seweryn work tirelessly to reach the limits of his physical capabilities, time and time again. Surprisingly, this doesn't stop him from making the most of life on the following day. His inner fire never seems to go out. But after all, everything has a price, also a highly successful career. The longer the viewers watch the protagonist, the more they want to ask themselves – what is the true price of greatness?
